Steven Gularte M.B.A. is the Vice President of Operations of American Health.
Mr. Gularte has been in healthcare his whole career. Starting on the clinical side as a Medical Technologist specializing in Hematology and Blood Banking. Then after completing master’s in business administration from Southern Oregon State College, he switched to the management of hospitals as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and for the past 22 years as a Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Gularte is American Health’s Vice President of Operations focusing on all day-to-day workings of hospital operations, financial, and quality clinical care with the goal of high-quality patient care and excellent patient outcomes.
His experience in hospital administration ranges from small rural hospital to large, multi-hospital systems, and corporate responsibility over multiple CEO’s in various hospitals. His expertise has developed efficient hospital operations, high-quality patient care, and improved financial results. He completed two successful turnarounds of hospital systems that remain financially successful.
He has served on several boards, including the Texas Organization of Rural and Community Hospitals for eight years, with two of those years as Chairperson.
His US based and international consulting services includes board education, board development, strategic planning, financial consulting, and systems development.
